Ed is feeling: Ready

I am as ready as I’ll ever be. The runway on the high Arctic sea ice at
Camp Barneo is operational, the technical flights have been a success. It
is as certain as certain can be in the polar regions that we will fly out
tomorrow lunchtime/afternoon. Today has been another preparation and
tweaking day, the pulk repacked, much better now. Took a trip on skidoos to
an ice cave on Longyearbyen glacier to distract my mind for a few
hours from the endless over thinking, repacking and nervous tension. Really
looking forward to getting going, fingers crossed tomorrows daily update
will be considerably closer to the Pole!
